Soak ‘Em – How to Grow Orbeez

Orbeez arrive in small, plastic containers. They’re colorful and tiny. When you first see them, it’s hard to believe that they grow to the size of marbles!

The special safety design of our containers prevents spills and access by small children. When you’re ready to grow Orbeez, just shake out the amount you need into a bowl of clean drinking water.

Each Orbeez dispenser holds approximately 330 Orbeez. One dispenser will create about 1 ½ cups of grown Orbeez.

Use these measurements as a guide:

  1. Add 110 Orbeez (about ¼ teaspoon) to 8 ounces (1 cup) of water.
  2. Add 220 Orbeez (about ½ teaspoon) to 16 ounces (2 cups) of water.
  3. Add 330 Orbeez (about ¾ teaspoon) to 24 ounces (3 cups) of water.

We recommend using bottled water. Cold or warm water works best, please don’t use hot or boiling water.

Let your Orbeez soak for 3 hours or more!

What would you do with Orbeez? We would love to hear your comments and suggestions. Please send us your best ideas, photos and videos. We’ll feature some of our favorites on this blog, on Facebook, or even in a new activity booklet included with every Orbeez activity toy product! Please share your ideas here.

We haven’t heard this one before. Try placing them in filtered or bottled water. Leave them for at least 4 hours or overnight. The purer the water, the larger they grow:)

Orbeez should be very easy to grow. Just place them in a cup of clean water and leave them to soak. Make sure the water is clean, that you have enough water, and that you leave them for at least four hours. You should have no problems.

If you leave them out in a warm place uncovered. In the sun they dry out quickly. Then jsut add water to rehydrate.
